DWAYNE HAY
HOCKEY ACADEMY
Dwayne played his junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey Leagues and was selected by the Washington Capitals 43rd overall at the 1995 NHL entry draft. Dwayne played professional hockey for 14 seasons. After stops in the Central Hockey League, East Coast Hockey League, American Hockey League and the National Hockey League, Dwayne’s NHL career spanned four NHL teams. Dwayne also received a GOLD medal at the 1997 World Juniors playing for Canada.

Power Edge Pro
Dwayne is a Certifed Power Edge Pro (PEP) lead instructor, has worked as a head coach and lead instructor for Spartan Programs (2005, 2008, 2009, 2010) for the past three years. Dwayne’s passion for development and training has set himself up as one of the best “on and off ice” hockey skills instructors in all of Canada.


HISTORY
Starting in Washington, and then played with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers and Calgary Flames. Over the past 10 years, Dwayne has put in over 10,000 hours developing and mentoring players from age 6 to NHL players actively playing on and off the ice. Many young HSL (Hockey Super League – Crusaders and Spartan organizations) players have grown and developed at exponential rates under the influence and training of Dwayne.
